Vacation Bible School

Educational and intellectual pursuits have always been an important part of the United Church of Christ's traditions. As a congregation, we follow in this tradition.

Sunday Mornings
Sunday School is available for all ages on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Sunday school does not meet during the summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day), and worship takes place at 9:30 a.m. during those months.

School-aged students are separated by grade for liturgy-based lessons, and enjoy the opportunity to review what they've learned with the Pastor during the weekly Children's Sermon (part of the worship service).

Adults have multiple opportunities for spiritual exploration on Sunday mornings, including meditation, faith exploration, and Bible study.

Confirmation
Students in ninth grade (or higher) may participate in Confirmation classes with the Pastor during the school year.

Membership Questions?
There are no educational requirements for adults and families wishing to become members of The United Church of Christ - Cedar Falls congregation. Pastor provides faith counseling and answers questions about the denomination, congregation, and doctrine of the church in private sessions with individuals and families wishing to learn more about the church.
